Sometimes, you just need that sounding board or some hand-holding from someone who's been there. Or maybe you're stuck on a problem and could benefit from a new perspective from someone experienced—with an objective point of view?
I’m excited to offer a limited number of one-on-one coaching sessions for students and clients looking for this kind of specialized support.
I find one-on-one sessions are the best format for working together on developing your landscape or farm project, getting started as a professional in the fields of landscape design and permaculture, or growing and maintaining your contractor or design business.
Our session can be focused on high-level topics such as finding the perfect property to buy, making big business decisions, or deciding on a new career path; or we can focus on specific and detailed systems such as the design plan of a school landscape, a food forest buildout, a water harvest system, or any other related project.
NOTE: Your area of focus MUST fall into either the Design / Installation or Business / Education categories (see below). Within those areas, the possibilities are endless and my goal is to be 100% focused on your needs and project during our time together!

How does coaching work?
Once you purchase, you'll be asked to select a date from the available time slots on my calendar and book your session. You will receive a Zoom invite and a more indepth Project Assessment Form that asks you to provide details about your project or issue for which you need help. This will be due to me one week before your scheduled session. By turning it in on time, you help assure that I can give you the best value during our session together!
On your designated coaching date and time, use the Zoom link previously provided to you to connect with Erik. You will need to be set up in an area that has a reliable internet connection. You'll receive a recording of your coaching session.
Do you offer refunds?
If I determine, after reviewing your Project Assessment Form, that we are not a good fit to work together, you will be refunded the entire amount of your coaching purchase. This is the only instance in which a refund will be issued.
What if I can't get my Project Assessment Form in on time?
We encourage you to try to get your Project Assessment Form submitted on time; otherwise, some of the time allotted to coaching will need to be spent getting up to speed with your project. We'd hate for you to lose that valuable time with Erik! Also, by getting the Project Assessment Form into Erik on time, you assure that he can gather the needed resources to best guide you during your session.
What if I need to change the date of my session?
You are free to do so as long as it's at least 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations or changes within 48 hours of the originally scheduled session cannot be honored, and you will not be eligible for a refund.
How long do I have from the time of purchasing to use my coaching session(s)?
Your coaching sessions will expire if they are not booked and fulfilled within 6 months of purchase.
If I purchase the coaching block, can I combine the sessions for a longer experience?
No. Your sessions will need to be spaced out, according to calendar availability.
Can I book multiple sessions?
If you would like to book multiple sessions, you are welcome to do that, but due to schedule limitations, a three-session experience may be spread out over a number of months. In between sessions, I may give you work to do on your own and use subsequent sessions for feedback and development.
